Forgot your password
A forgotten password no longer destroys your budget. Ask for a reset from the sign-in screen: you get a link by email, you pick a new password, and you get your account and your data back.
Resetting your password
Section titled “Resetting your password”- On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password.
- Enter your account’s email address.
- Open the link you receive — it is single-use and expires.
- Pick a new password.
If two-factor authentication is on for your account, you are asked for it after the reset, just as at an ordinary sign-in.
Passkeys
Section titled “Passkeys”A passkey (see Sign-in methods) is still the simplest way never to have to remember a password: stored in your device’s Apple or Google keychain, it signs you straight in. Add one from Settings → Security → Add a passkey.
It is no longer a “safety door” into an encrypted vault — it is a sign-in method, on the same footing as a password.
If you lose everything
Section titled “If you lose everything”Account, password and mailbox: write to us. Unlike before, your data still exists on our side; what remains to be established is your identity.
